The P’tits Beurres Festival in Nantes, in partnership with ESMA

The P’tits Beurres Festival in Nantes will be showcasing emerging talents in animated film on March 14 and 15. Several films made by ESMA students will be shown on the opening night, alongside films from the CinéCréatis school. As a partner of the event, ESMA will showcase the creativity and talent of its young directors at this unmissable event.

Short films in the spotlight at the P’tits Beurres Festival

Every year, the short format is celebrated in all its forms at the P’tits Beurres Festival, an unmissable event on the Nantes scene. By highlighting young talent, the event offers a showcase for emerging directors through a varied and daring selection. For its 2025 edition, the festival is dedicating two days to screenings and discussions, with a particular focus on animation and the new generation of creators.

 

Student talent in the spotlight for the festival opening

On Friday, March 14 at 8:30 p.m., the festival will kick off with an evening devoted entirely to student productions. This inaugural session will showcase the creations of students from ESMA and CinéCréatis, two schools in the Les Écoles Créatives group.

At the heart of this special screening is a selection of short films illustrating both the inventiveness and technical mastery of these promising young directors.
