[Spotted] Nos anciens au générique de la série Game of Thrones : House of the Dragon
News . 21 Oct. 2022
Released at the end of August, the series Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon brought back to our screens the famous kingdom of Westeros and the multiple conspiracies that are carried out in order to seize power. Several of our alumni participated in the making of this prequel.
The Game of Thrones series was a real tidal wave when it was released, exciting many viewers throughout the 8 seasons for the conquest of the Iron Throne and the kingdom of Westeros. This medieval epic began in the 1990s when George R. R. Martin published the first volume of the saga, known in France as Le Trône de fer. And today, there are still many readers who love the story and are waiting impatiently (and hopefully) for the next book.
The year 2022 will have been marked by the return on our screens of the legendary Targaryen family and their dragons. Once again, the powerful clash in a merciless struggle for power. The story is also inspired by one of the novels of the author George R. R. Martin: Fire and Blood. This time, the viewer is plunged 200 years before the terrible events related to the tearing of the country for its conquest.
And to bring the dragons and magical elements to life, many people have been working behind the scenes. Thus we note several of our former students from the CG Animation and FX Master Degree in the credits of this international series.

the story
The history of the Targaryen family, nearly 200 years before the events of Game Of Thrones. As King Viserys reigns over Westeros, the question of his succession worries. With no male offspring, who will take over? With no less than 10 adult dragons under their control, the Targaryens have dominated the Kingdom of the Seven Crowns for a very long time. The only power capable of overthrowing them is House Targaryen itself. Will the tensions, betrayals and jealousies that plague the clan internally prove fatal?
