Every year, the Association Française du Cinéma d’Animation (AFCA) celebrates the diversity of animation with the Fête du Cinéma d’Animation. This year, ESMA is joining forces with Cinéma Pathé Toulouse Labège to invite the Toulouse public to two special screenings dedicated to the creations of its students. Join us on Sunday 27 October to immerse yourself in the captivating world of these young talents, for an unforgettable visual and audio experience.
ESMA films light up the Pathé Toulouse Labège!
To mark the Fête du Cinéma d’Animation, organised by the Association Française du Cinéma d’Animation (AFCA), ESMA is joining forces with the Cinéma Pathé Toulouse Labège to offer the public two special screenings of films made by its students. On Sunday 27 October, come and discover the talent of young creators in a unique visual and audio experience!
The Animated Film Festival: a national tribute to the art of animation
Initiated by the AFCA, this annual celebration dedicates the whole month of October to animated films, with screenings, workshops and conferences across France. The festival showcases a wealth of techniques and styles, paying tribute to creators from all over the world. For ESMA, a benchmark in 3D animation and special effects, it’s the perfect opportunity to share its students’ passion and innovation with the public.
A creative alliance with Cinéma Pathé Toulouse Labège
By teaming up with Cinéma Pathé Toulouse Labège, ESMA is widening access to animation by offering the general public the chance to discover student cinema in a professional setting. With state-of-the-art equipment and exceptional projection quality, the Pathé cinemas offer the ideal setting for appreciating the technical and artistic work of ESMA students. These short films, the fruit of months of hard work, bear witness to their talent and passion for animation.
Two screenings not to be missed
On Sunday 27 October, there will be two special screenings at Pathé Labège. At 1.45pm, a family screening invites young and old to discover works suitable for all ages. The second screening, at 6.10pm, is for the over-12s and features films exploring more mature themes.
