REVEN is in the running for the Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2025!
News . 28 Apr. 2025
REVEN continues its rise on the international stage! This month, the short film has been selected for the prestigious Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia, which will take place in Tokyo from May 28 to June 11, 2025.
An unmissable global event
Since its creation in Tokyo in 1999, the Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia (SSFF & ASIA) has established itself as one of the most prestigious short film festivals in Asia and around the world. Only a very small number of festivals, like SSFF & ASIA, are officially eligible for the Oscars. Every year, it celebrates works from all over the world, with high artistic standards, a wealth of formats, and genuine cultural openness.
Being selected for this event is a major recognition for our students: it proves that their graduation film, made at ESMA, has won over an international jury with its creativity, technical mastery, and original view of the contemporary world.
REVEN selected for the Shibuya Diversity Program
Thanks to the talent of a group of young graduates from the class of 2024, REVEN has been selected to compete in the Shibuya Diversity Program category, which celebrates works that address identity, tolerance, inclusion, and cultural diversity—themes that the film explores with power and sensitivity.
The next edition of the Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia will take place in Tokyo from May 28 to June 11, 2025. REVEN will proudly represent the ambitions of its creators as it competes against the best international short films in the heart of the Japanese capital.
Congratulations to the REVEN team!
We warmly congratulate the REVEN team on this magnificent selection. Their nomination at such a prestigious festival is a testament to their talent, high standards, and unfailing dedication throughout their project.
We wish them all the best for the rest of their journey in Tokyo!
