ESMA ranked 8th best animation school in the world by Animation Career Review 2022.
ESMA’s films have been selected for over 200 international festivals each year. Our students’ work has been rewarded with many prizes, including the “Best Student Project” award at SIGGRAPH for the film Je suis un Caillou, the “Film of the Year – 3D animation” award by The Rookies for the film Œil pour Œil, the “Best Art Director Award” for the film La Source des Montagnes at the Animayo! festival, and many others!

Two award-winning films at PanamAnim 2020
Two films were awarded at the PanamAnim Festival – France :

The film Œil pour Œil was awarded twice at the Sapporo International Short Film Festival – Japan

The film Monkey Symphony received an honourable mention “2020 Audience Award for Best Family Short Film” at the Gold Coast International Film Festival – New York

Œil pour Œil won “Best Animation 2020” at the Kingston Film Festival – canada

Two films were awarded at the FESTinha festival, Portugal :
Œil pour Œil which wins the FESTinha Sub 10 award

These awards, at the festival level, mean that these two short films are considered the best in their respective categories!
