Released at the end of August, the series Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon brought back to our screens the famous kingdom of Westeros and the multiple conspiracies that are carried out in order to seize power. Several of our alumni participated in the making of this prequel.

Loïc Lemoine graduated in 2021 in CG Animation & FX in Montpellier. He first flew to Canada to join the ranks of the Image Engine studio in order to complete an internship won at the Rookie Awards competition and then returned to France to join Nobody Studio in Montpellier.

During three intense days, the students of the class of 2022 in CG Animation & FX Master Degrees presented their films before an international panel of professionals at the end-of-studies jury. This year there were 27 films made by 210 students spread over our 4 campuses.

Jérôme Denjean and Monica Singh Haley, represented the American studio Blur during their visit to ESMA Lyon. They held a conference on the theme of the famous series Love, Death and Robots.

Julie Chapelle and Aurélie Duret both studied CG Animation & FX in Lyon. They flew to England, one at DNEG and the other at Framestore.

Used to modeling an insect, the 2nd year students of the CG Animation & FX Master Degree program in Nantes faced this time a new exercise: create their own “bug”, in a natural environment, at a macroscopic scale. The challenge: to realize modeling and organic shading, with vegetation, for a macrophotographic rendering. Back on the exercise with the rendering of Titouan Helias, who accepted to detail his work around the Clades Khion.
