On 17 May, ESMA Nantes will be welcoming Camille Lacroix, 3D animator at Fortiche Production, creators of the worldwide success Arcane.

On 13 May, ESMA Bordeaux is hosting Jonathan Duret, Lead Character Animator at Illumination Studio Paris, for a conference aimed at Animation students. Introducing this young talent, who was already attracting attention in 2014 when his graduation film was shortlisted for the “Oscar Nominated Short Films”!

Two film-concerts were held on 26 and 27 March, the fruit of collaboration between ESMA students, MAAAV master’s students from the Lyon 2 Lumière University and students from the Lyon Conservatoire, under the direction of the Lyon Conservatoire’s OrKestr Percussion association.

From 25 March to 5 April, 3rd year students in the 3D Animation Film section at the Montpellier campus were able to benefit from a series of masterclasses to enrich their academic careers. Focus on two weeks of meetings and exchanges, during which the students had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and develop their skills thanks to the contributions of industry professionals.

Écoles Créatives are announcing the creation of a research laboratory – the LAB – with the aim of shedding light on the research and innovations that are having a significant impact on the creative and entertainment sectors. For its first event, the LAB has chosen the theme of Artificial Intelligence, which promises a month of meetings, workshops, conferences… and learning!
