The famous actress Angélina Jolie is back in the cinema to take on the role of Evil once again. As the screening ends in theatres, the film has been at the top of the box office for many weeks. In order to animate the supernatural part of the character of Evil as well as all the extraordinary sets and FX that make up this feature film, many skills and professions are required. Among them, we have several former ESMA students!

Barely a week after its release in the cinema (in France), Frozen 2 explodes the French box office. In one week, more than 2 million spectators crowded into the dark rooms to watch it. We are proud to count among the people who participated in its manufacture, one of our alumni: Ruben Athouel. For several months he joined Walt Disney Animation Studios located in Burbank.

After a successful screening at Vulcania Park, Achoo flew back to the south of France to participate in the Ciné Festival en Pays de Fayence!

For the 2019 edition, the Cartoon Forum was once again held in the city of Toulouse. This event is an opportunity for professionals in the field to get together and discuss animated TV projects. Once again this year, several ESMA students were invited to participate and even two projects were selected for the famous “ptichs” session.

This year again ESMA has the privilege of being included in the prestigious list of schools certified by SideFX for its Houdini software.
