“I am a Pebble” & “The source of the Mountains”: Best Animated Shorts Films?

Congratulations to the two films I am a Pebble and The Source of the Mountains, which in their year of competition through international festivals, won “Academy Awards Qualifying” festivals.
TWO FILMS ON THE ROAD TO INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION
The films made by the class of 2020 have conquered hearts around the world. As proof is in their multiple selections around the world and the numerous awards they have garnered.
But what’s more wonderful is that this year, 2 of our films are moving forward on the mythical road to Hollywood, the holy place of the cinematographic universe. For the team of these two short films, this would be an undeniable recognition of their work by their peers.
Thus, the films I am a Pebble and The Source of the Mountains have respectively won “Oscars Qualifying” festivals:
- “Best Animation Short” award received at the HollyShorts Film Festival for the film I am a Pebble,
- “Best Animated Short” award at the Riverrun International Film Festival for the film The Source of Mountains.
As for the rest of their journey, the answer will be given on December 21st, so we are crossing our fingers for these teams who fully deserve to see their work rewarded.

The Paccha-Picchus are festive little creatures. They live a carefree life in sync with the mountains’ rhythm. When the mountains come, their oasis rises and they are lifted up into a winter climate. The Paccha-Picchus are very fond of the winter climate, which is vital for them. But one day, the mountains stop coming and the restless Kinko decides to go looking for them.
