ESMA in competition at the Tokyo Anime Award Festival 2025 with two short student films

TRASH and LES LUCIOLES, two short films made by students from ESMA’s class of 2024, will proudly represent the school at the next edition of the prestigious Tokyo Anime Award Festival 2025 (TAAF). The event will take place in Tokyo, Japan, from 7 to 10 March. Selected in the highly sought-after Short Animation Competition category, these films are among the best international creations by young talent.

Each year it offers an exceptional platform for the most creative and innovative works, while saluting both emerging and established talent. The selection of TRASH and LES LUCIOLES in the Short Animation Competition is a tribute to their creative and technical excellence.
