Ciné-Concerts : two evenings of collaboration
News, School . 16 Apr. 2024
Two film-concerts were held on 26 and 27 March, the fruit of collaboration between ESMA students, MAAAV master’s students from the Lyon 2 Lumière University and students from the Lyon Conservatoire, under the direction of the Lyon Conservatoire’s OrKestr Percussion association.
ESMA, MAAV and the lyon Conservatoire at the helm
When animation, composition and musical interpretation come together, the result can only be remarkable. This is the fruit of this association that spectators were able to appreciate at the two ciné-concerts – the first was held on 26 March at the cultural amphitheatre of Lyon 2 Bron University, and the second on 27 March at the Cinéma Pathé-Vaise Lyon 9e. The programme featured 8 ESMA films, set to music by MAAAV Master’s students, whose compositions were performed by students from the Lyon Conservatoire.
