At the 2024 edition of the COURT MAIS BON festival, which each year highlights ambitious creations in short format, two short films made by ESMA 3D Animation and Special Effects students stood out: Reven and Tricot de Corps.

The COURT MAIS BON festival celebrates the creativity and originality of young talent by showcasing short films from all walks of life. Now a must-attend event for enthusiasts and creators of the genre, it is held in Le Puy-en-Velay.
the Special Jury Mention for Tricot de corps
The short film Tricot de corps (Body Knit) directed by Pierre-Marie Bavay, Laurie Beldent, Joan Haubois, Maëlle Le Bris, Camille Lequeux, Malo Lescop, Clara Navoizat and Emma Rateau won over the jury, who awarded it the Special Mention, highlighting the originality of its visual universe and the subtlety of its narrative.

Prix de la ville du Puy et de l’agglo: Reven honoured
The film Reven, directed by Hugo Babey, Victor Barreau, Line Bossard, Chloé Hurard, Coralie Monnier, Mathilde Morin, Léna Ripoche and Tanguy Salaun, has won the prestigious City of Le Puy and Urban Area Award. A well-deserved distinction, reflecting the emotional intensity it exudes!
