Voyage à Nantes: discovering ESMA films

Nantes

Every summer, the Voyage à Nantes organizes an itinerary, clearly identifiable by its green line that crosses the city, allowing visitors to discover all the works of art on display throughout the summer. Once again this year, ESMA is a partner of Le Voyage à Nantes, inviting all curious visitors to a film screening!

TIME GOES BY

This summer, ESMA is teaming up with Le Voyage à Nantes and Audencia Sciences Com, located in the Médiacampus next door to the Nantes school.
ESMA, with CinéCréatis, is offering a screening of films on the theme of Time Passing. Documentaries, fiction, animation… the films follow one another, asking the viewer questions about the passage of time and our impact on it. A recurring theme in fiction, time is a source of the imagination, both fascinating and questioning.

The films Achoo, Pour une poignée de caramels, Mésozoïque Alternatif, La source des Montagnes and Le Roi Tulipe have been selected. It’s a wonderful showcase for the work of our students, on view from July 1 to September 3, from 10am to 7pm.
Audencia Sciences Com presents the exhibition Fake News: Art, Fiction, Mensonge, curated by the EDF Foundation.

LE VOYAGE À NANTES

Every year, Le Voyage à Nantes offers a new way to visit the City of the Dukes. Now a symbol of the city, the Voyage organizes numerous exhibitions, site visits and activities throughout the city every summer.

This project is part of the Parcours Inter-écoles, a gathering of higher education establishments located on the Île de Nantes, in the Quartier de la Création. Nantes Université (École nationale supérieure d’architecture, École des beaux-arts Nantes Saint-Nazaire), the École de design Nantes Atlantique, the Pôle des Arts Graphiques (Grafipolis and La Joliverie), Mediacampus (Audencia SciencesCom communications school) and the Écoles Créatives (ESMA-CinéCréatis) are opening their doors all summer long to showcase all the creations, inventions and achievements produced every year by these thousands of students.
